To release our self-titled debut LP we, Bateleur, created The Nest.

All you need to do is plug in.

And climb a mountain.

PLEASE NOTE: We have been notified that The Nest sadly has been destroyed by a vandal.

Thank you all for your participation!

Since The Nest has no buttons, whistling acts as a user input trigger. Whistle any two notes in succession (like: "tweet-twoot") to switch it on once you've found it.

This light pattern indicates that The Nest is initialising. You can plug in your earphones so long.

Once the little guy is ready for you, you'll see this, and the album should start playing. The Nest is now ready to upload our album to your USB flash drive.

Pretty self explanatory, right?

At this point you should be able to remove your USB drive and just sit back, take in the view (and anything else you might've brought along), and listen to the thing we've made.

The Nest is located near the first beacon at the lookout atop Table Mountain's Kloof Corner hiking route.

Once at the beacon overlooking the Camps Bay area, head south along the western ridge. The Nest is hidden from plain sight and is nestled in the rock face at waist height.

The following coordinates should lead you to its approximate location on the ridge: -33.949608,18.398809

Please be very careful not to overstep the ledge. Note that the experience has been designed to accommodate one person at a time due to physical restrictions and safety precautions.

Although we've installed The Nest along the easily traversable part of the ridge, at the end of the day, it's still a mountain, and if you're reading this you're likely mortal, so again: please be careful.
